Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Extraby on the web at app.extraby.com or in the Extraby Android app. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Extraby is a digital service for recording expenses, keeping shared money books, scanning receipts, splitting bills and settling up with the people you invite. Extraby does not hold or move your money; payments between people happen in their own UPI or bank apps.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Only invite people you know to your books. Everyone in a book can see what that book's role allows.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Extraby.

Plans and payments

Extraby has a Free plan and paid plans (Base and Pro) with higher limits. Prices are shown on the pricing page and in the app before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay; Extraby never sees or stores your card or UPI credentials. See Refunds and cancellations.

Fair use

Do not use Extraby for anything unlawful, to harass or spam people with invitations, to probe or overload the service, or to upload content you do not have the right to share. Accounts that break these terms can be limited or closed.

Accuracy and liability

Balances and splits are arithmetic on what members enter. Extraby is not responsible for entries that are wrong, missing or disputed between members. The service is provided as it is; we work to keep it available and correct but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
